Staff decision & social concept

Decide personally.
Document player protection.

The EOAS StaffPad shows name, photo and result. Signed-in staff compare them with the person present, decide for themselves and can record observations and measures in a structured way.

The EOAS StaffPad

Sign in personally. Check the person and the process.

The 5-inch touch display shows name, photo and result. The interface in the product illustration is an example.

01

Personal PIN

Individual staff accounts assign every decision to the signed-in employee. Changing, deactivating or deleting a PIN invalidates existing sign-ins.

02

Complete display

A decision is only possible once the photo has been fully transferred and displayed.

03

Deliberate decision

Press and hold for one second, then release, to prevent accidental operation.

04

Securing the block case

With an OASIS block result, “Release” remains disabled.

Time window

30 seconds are provided for the staff decision. If feedback is missing or invalid, the release stays off.

Own decision

A positive technical result does not oblige staff to release. Staff can decline personally at any time.

Supporting the social concept

Observe. Approach. Record measures traceably.

Within the active access process, staff can open a player protection review and document it in a structured way. A time window of 300 seconds is provided for this.

01 · Observation

Select a concrete observation

  • conspicuous or highly emotional behaviour
  • signs of loss of control
  • statements about losses or money problems
  • repeated procuring of money
  • aggressive or desperate behaviour
  • unusually long or frequent play

02 · Measure

Record the action taken

  • personal conversation
  • break from play recommended
  • information material offered
  • counselling service named
  • reference to self-exclusion
  • management involved
  • further participation refused
  • review of third-party exclusion initiated

03 · Decision

Document and decide

Document and release, or document and decline. A declining measure cannot be overridden by a subsequent positive decision. An OASIS block result remains binding in every case.

Planned extension: a player protection review that can be opened at any time during ongoing play, independent of the access process, is not part of the status described here.
